UPSC Civil Services 2022 Result Declared: Here’s how much the top 10 rankers scored

The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) declared the Civil Services 2022 results on May 23. Continuing the trend, this year again women candidate have secured top three positions in the UPSC CSE final results. This year, Ishita Kishore has secured AIR 1 followed by Garima Lohia at rank 2 and Uma Harathi N at AIR 3.

AIR 1 Ishita Kishore has secured the highest marks in total (mains + personality test). However, the highest marks in the personality test, which is 210 were secured by three candidates at rank 203, 545 and 598.

Here’s a stage-wise breakup of marks secured by UPSC Civil Services Top 10 rankers in mains and PT

The mains result is computed by combining the marks secured by a candidate in four General studies paper, one essay paper and two optional papers. Combining the marks secured in mains and personality test, the final merit list is curated. Ranks are allotted based on the total marks secured at both (mains + PT) stages.

As per the UPSC release, the candidature of 101 candidates stands provisional. Their roll numbers have been mentioned in the press release. A total fo 178 candidates have been kept in the reserve list. Of these 89 are from general category, 28 in EWS, 52 in OBSm 5 and 4 in SC and ST Respectively
