Lataa Saberwal shares ‘5-minute recipe’ for days you don’t feel like eating regular food

Consuming our daily meals can sometimes become monotonous and mundane. As such, people often yearn for a quick and delectable alternative. However, it’s not always feasible to order takeout or invest significant time in preparing an elaborate spread. During such moments, the value of a simple and time-efficient recipe becomes evident.

Suggesting something similar is Lataa Saberwal, who recently took to her Instagram account to share a quick rice recipe that is not just extremely filling but also seems delicious. “My 5-minute recipe when I don’t feel like eating regular food and also don’t want to order from outside,” the actor captioned the recipe video.

Here’s how Lataa prepared her quick meal.

Ingredients

*Olive oil*Frozen corns*Salt*Kashmiri red chilli powder*Mixed herbs*Chilli flakes*Cooked rice*Cheese

Method

*Put a pan on a stove and heat some olive oil.*To the pan, add some corn, salt, Kashmiri red chilli powder, mixed herbs, and chilli flakes.*Mix all the ingredients well. Add a small amount of water to the pan.*Once the water is hot enough, add some cooked rice to the pan and mix it well with the spices.*Let the rice cook a little. Once done, add a cheese slice over it.*Cover the lid and let it simmer a bit.

“This looks so good,” Lataa said, before going on to taste the delicious dish. Take a look at her video:

This isn’t the first time that the actor has shared lifestyle tips with her followers. Prior to this, she shared her first exercise post C-section which was aimed to shed around 20 kilos of postpartum weight. “After Aarav was born, I had put on around 20 kgs. When I decided to shed these kilos, I started with a basic and simple walk three months after my C-section. I didn’t even opt for brisk walking as I couldn’t push myself,” she said in a video posted on social media.

Lataa said she used to simply walk for 20 minutes. “Gradually, I converted it to brisk walking and then I started walking even more fast with my headphones on. So, please do not underestimate the power of a simple and basic walk,” she added.
