Delhi Police team detains Jalaun man in Parliament breach probe

THE DELHI Police have picked up a 53-year-old man from near his residence in Orai area of Jalaun in connection with its probe into the Parliament security breach case, sources said on Wednesday.

The Jalaun police identified the accused as Atul Kulshrestha. They said it is suspected that Kulshrestha is a member of a “Bhagat Singh fan page” on social media that other accused in the case had also joined.

Jalaun Superintendent of Police Iraj Raja confirmed that Kulshrestha was picked up by the Delhi Police but did not divulge more details.

Sources said that the Delhi police also seized Kulshrestha’s phone. Kulshrestha, a farmer who does odd jobs for a living, has four children, said a police officer.

As many as six persons, including Lucknow resident Sagar Sharma, have till date been arrested in connection with the security breach that took place on December 13.
