Police said the incident happened when the boy tried to enter the flat through the balcony.

Anil Rajput, SHO, Bisrakh police station, said: “CCTV footage shows he had gone outside to meet his friend around 4.30 am, without telling anyone. He returned around 6 am and tried to enter the flat through the balcony. From the stairs lobby, he manoeuvred himself in such a way that he could get to the balcony by holding onto the grille. He used to get in this way earlier too to avoid being scolded by his parents.”
