iQOO launches Neo 7 Pro with dedicated gaming chip launched: Check price, specs and discounts

iQOO has officially announced its latest gaming-centric smartphone — Neo 7 Pro. Featuring a dedicated gaming chip, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro is currently the most affordable phone with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC in the country with a starting price of Rs 34,999 for the base model with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, which comes down to Rs 31,999 with early bird offer and bank discounts.

The newly launched device looks similar to the Neo 7, which the company unveiled earlier this year. The back panel of the black variant is made of what the company called ‘AG Glass’ but has a soft matte finish to it, which might feel slippery to some, whereas the bright orange-coloured phone has a leather-like finish to it. On the left side of the camera island, you will notice a blueish hue that adds to the aesthetic. The phone also comes with game frame interpolation, which inserts fake frames and offers high refresh rate when playing titles like PUBG and Call of Duty.

Compared to recent phones, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro has a very minimalistic camera but a large island that doesn’t bulge. Powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, the phone sports a 6.78-inch 120hz AMOLED screen which is ideal for gaming.

While the phone does come with some bloatware like hot apps and hot games, the company has kept it to a minimum. Like all recent phoned launched by iQOO, the Neo 7 Pro runs on FuntouchOS based on Android 13 out of the box, which might not be the best looking UI but is packed with several useful features.

Similar to other devices in the mid-range segment, the phone features a triple camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor that supports OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP macro camera. Just like the non-pro variant, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120w fast charging, which the company claims can charge the device from 0 to 50 per cent in 8 mins.

iQOO Neo 7 Pro is available in two variants – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB which are priced at Rs 34,999 and Rs 37,999 respectively. But those who pre-book the phone from Amazon can avail a Rs 1,000 early bird discount and will get 2 years of warranty. SBI and ICICI card holders will also be eligible for an additional discount of Rs 2,000, bringing the effective price down to Rs 31,999.
