Illegal shed of Pune’s Vaishali Hotel pulled down by PMC

As part of its ongoing anti-encroachment drive, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Wednesday pulled down an alleged illegal shed of the famous Vaishali hotel on Fergusson College Road.

“A total of 3,500 sqft of encroached area was cleared by the civic administration during the anti encroachment drive at Vaishali hotel and Queens Shop. A shed built with bamboo, steel roof, iron bars and folding roof structure was removed. The action was taken for the encroachment on the side margin and terrace of the hotel,” said Sunil Kadam, deputy engineer of PMC.
