SBI Recruitment 2023: Application open for 107 posts in clerical cadre

The State Bank of India (SBI) has opened the application window for recruitment against 18 posts of armourers and 89 control room operators in the clerical cadre today, September 6. The posts are reserved for ex-servicemen, ex-CAPF, AR only for armourers and for the control room operators, the posts are reserved for ex-servicemen, state fire service personnel, ex-CAPF and AR. The last date to submit the SBI application form is October 5.

The selection process for the SBI clerical cadre posts comprises of online test of 100 marks and an interview of 25 marks.

The minimum qualifying aggregate marks will be decided at the discretion of the bank, SBI notification said. 

If number of applications is less, the bank added, SBI reserves the right to select the candidates through shortlisting and interview, instead of online test and interview. Written test will be held on-line. The online written test will be conducted tentatively in November-December 2023.

Selected candidates will be on probation for a minimum period of six months. Further, before the probation period comes to an end, the performance of the newly recruited employees will be evaluated and the probation period of those employees’ whose performance fails to meet Bank’s expectation, may be extended.
