Odisha Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023: Applications for 20,000 vacancies to open on September 13

Odisha OSEPA Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023: The Odisha School and Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) is inviting applications for the post of junior teacher (schematic). The registration for the same will open on September 13 and close on October 10. Candidates can register at the official website— osepa.odisha.gov.in.

Odisha OSEPA Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023: Vacancies

Candidates can apply only through online mode and there will be no examination fee. There are 20,000 vacancies for the post, which will be filled for primary (Classes 1 to 5) and upper primary (Classes 6 to 8).

The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The date, time and details of the exam centre will be mentioned in the admit card.

Step 1: Visit the official website— osepa.odisha.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the link for Junior Teacher Recruitment

Step 3: Click on new registration and enter your basic details such as name, email address and more

Step 4: Once registered, login using your credentials such as username and password

Step 5: Fill the application form and upload the necessary documents

Step 6: Save and submit the application

Step 7: Download the application form for future reference

Odisha OSEPA Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023: Age limit

The age limit for the candidates is they shall not be below 18 years of age and above 38 years of age as on the date of publication of advertisement. There are relaxations as per government norms.

Odisha OSEPA Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023: Eligibility

The candidates applying for primary classes need to have 50 per cent marks in Class 12 or equivalent and a two year diploma in elementary education or a four-year diploma in elementary education (B El Ed) or have a two year diploma in Education (Special Education).

The candidates can also have 45 per cent marks in Class 12 and two year diploma in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 or graduation and two-year diploma in elementary education.

They should have passed Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test-1 (OTET-1) and have Odia as MIL up to Class 10 in Odia language test except for candidates appearing for Urdu, Bengali or Telugu.

For upper primary candidates should have graduation and two year diploma in elementary education or 50 per cent marks in graduation or PG and BEd or graduation with 45 per cent marks and one year BEd in accordance with NCTE regulations. They can either have 50 per cent marks in Class 12 or equivalent and four-year B El Ed or four-year BA/ BScEd/ BAEd or graduation with 50 per cent marks and one year BEd (Special Education) or PG with 55 per cent marks or equivalent and three year integrated BEd-MEd.

They should have cleared OTET-2 and have Odia as MIL up to Class 10 or pass in Odia language test.
